The Materials Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), with support from other organisation has launched an energy reduction competition – ‘Watt’ are You Saving? – for the UK plastics and rubber industries.
The aim of the competition is to showcase the excellent innovations being applied to address the challenges of higher energy costs, energy availability and carbon reduction. There are prizes in five different categories plus an overall winner. The deadline for entries is the 11th February 2011 and companies wishing to enter must express their intention to do so by the 17th December 2010.
