An event to highlight regional business support funding will take place at the University of East Anglia on April 18.
The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) has funded a number of projects across the East of England which collectively offer a broad range of business support services and investment funding.The ERDF projects are available to help small and medium-sized companies grow sustainably and reduce their carbon footprint.
The event will be hosted by the university’s Adapt Low Carbon Group – an umbrella organisation which brings together the Low Carbon Innovation Fund (LCIF), the InCrops Enterprise Hub and the new Exemplar Low Carbon Building Project.
The aim is to provide businesses with information about a range of ERDF-funded support via a series of briefings, networking and the opportunity for in-depth discussions with several of the regions ERDF projects including experts from UEA’s low carbon projects.
Experts from InCrops will talk about how they can help support green innovation and businesses will be able to find out about venture capital funding available from the Low Carbon Innovation Fund.

The ERDF Competitiveness Programme is a seven-year €308 billion programme of European Structural Funds across European Union member states. The ERDF programme for the East of England (Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk) supports low carbon economic growth until 2013. The ERDF has allocated approximately €110.9 million (£95 million) for use in the East of England.
