The Technology Strategy Board to launch a new call under their Collaborative R&D scheme

Up to £18 million of new government funding is available to business-led consortia to develop technological innovations that may create growth for the UK. The scope of this call includes omics, industrial & medical biotechnology, and agriculture & food.
This is a two-stage competition that will open on 31 October 2011. The deadline for registration is at noon on 30 November 2011 and for Expressions of Interest (EOI) at noon on 7 December 2011. The second stage for invited applications will open on 6 February 2012 and close at noon on 21 March 2012.
